Recording ALC students with Wikitongues

Immigrant Heritage month

This project is ongoing and in collaboration with the non-profit language platform Wikitongues. Volunteers will record video oral histories in the various languages and dialects of Queens, and work with interviewees to transcribe and translate the interviews. The content will be published on a rolling basis on YouTube and other digital platforms and stored in the Queens Library’s digital archives.
