Volunteers in the Vaults

Calling all now and future Queens Memory volunteers! Join us on Tuesday, Jan. 10, for our next Volunteers in the Vaults event at Central Library in Jamaica, Queens. Queens Memory volunteers are actively scouting our neighborhoods in order to document the stories of the everyday people who live next door. If you are a current volunteer or are interested in becoming one, join Queens Memory Director Natalie Milbrodt for skill-building and project support. This is a great opportunity to meet other volunteers, talk with our Queens Memory support staff, and learn about some of the work happening across the borough as part of Queens Memory.

Schedule:

6:00 – 6:15: Meet and Greet (1st Floor Conference Room)
6:20 – 7:00: Treasures in the Archive with Image Archivist Erik Huber (Downstairs C2)
7:05 – 8:00: Networking and Discussion (1st Floor Conference Room)
